Sarah's interest in mindfulness and meditation research stems from her experience teaching stress relief-based yoga to a variety of populations in North Carolina, where she was born and raised. She noticed profound changes in her students particularly with respect to their overall well-being. This observation sparked a curiosity and desire to contribute to the scientific effort describing the benefits of mindfulness and meditation. Sarah has been with the Center for Healthy Minds as a Research Specialist since March 2022.
