[Event Canceled] Tackling Trauma: Chris Borland and Richard Davidson

Apr 10 to 12:00AM

This event has been canceled

Trauma comes in different forms, and mindfulness can help in healing it. Concerns about brain injuries drove former linebacker Chris Borland away from the NFL. He will join center founder and director Richard Davidson at the Rubin Museum in New York City on April 10 to discuss how contemplative practice can be tailored to the unique challenges athletes face on and off the field. The discussion will include results from the Center's groundbreaking studies of how mindfulness-based practices have the potential to substantially mitigate the impact of stress and injury in athletes.
