Presented by The Educational Neuroscience and Healthy Child Development Cluster at the University of British Columbia, Center for Healthy Minds founder Richard Davidson will discuss the Center's research on the brain across the life span and how mental training can have positive ripple effects in an individual's life and society writ large. He’ll explore how the mind can change (a concept called neuroplasticity) and why scientists suspect human nature is fundamentally good.
