Caroline is a Research Specialist at the Center for Healthy Minds. She works under the close supervision of Dr. Simon Goldberg on the Behavior, Biology, and Well-being (BeWell) Study. Her research interests include understanding how mindfulness and meditation training can improve emotion regulation and disrupt rumination – a form of repetitive negative thinking that predicts and exacerbates symptoms of depression and anxiety. Additionally, she is interested in how mobile technology can be used to expand access to mindfulness and meditation training and deliver more personalized interventions. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, camping, and making pottery.
