Advances in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) have allowed scientists to generate large amounts of data related to structural, functional and connectivity aspects of the brain in vivo. Pattern analysis relating such complex brain data to behavioral data requires exciting interdisciplinary effort and involves a wide variety of computational and statistical challenges.
Nagesh’s research focus is in developing and integrating state-of-the-art brain image processing and machine learning techniques for a variety of inference applications in neuroscience.
