Dekila Chungyalpa will be a plenary speaker at the 2019 Student Conference on Conservation Science-New York, speaking about her experiences leading the Loka Initiative. The 10th annual conference held at the American Museum of Natural History brings together conservation students providing opportunities for emerging scientists to professionally network, gain experience, and present and get feedback on their work. She will also participate as a speaker on the Voices from Ecology, the Arts, and Faith-Led Approaches to Nature Conservation Mack Lipkin Man and Nature Series Panel Discussion.
