New CHM study seeks to understand impacts of ‘Psychology of Deep Resilience’

What if a mindfulness-based, trauma-sensitive curriculum for formerly incarcerated people could improve mental health and wellbeing, and support their transition from prison back into the community? A new study at CHM will investigate.

In it's first year, the Arts for Healthy Minds grant helped one recipient create meaningful workshops to forward creative arts research that explores belonging, wellbeing and flourishing on campus.

A group of monastics, scientists, medical professionals and forensic experts are working together to explore a rare postmortem meditative state known as tukdam in these communities.
