The Loka Initiative is an education-and-outreach initiative at the Center for Healthy Minds designed to support faith-led environmental and climate efforts. It aims to build the capacity of faith leaders and culture keepers of Indigenous traditions to address environmental challenges, build deep resilience and promote sustainability.

The Loka Initiative has pioneered a Deep Resilience framework, that is being studied and applied by partners worldwide, promoting an equal and simultaneous prioritization of inner, community, and planetary resilience building approaches.

Loka addresses the psychological impacts of environmental crises, offering research-backed tools and practices to help individuals and communities cope and thrive in a time of ecological collapse.
