Claire is a doctoral student in psychology and a member of the UW-Madison Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP). Claire's research focuses on the bi-directional communication between the brain and the immune system using asthma as a model of chronic inflammation. She hopes this work can help to improve interventions targeting depressive symptoms in individuals with chronic inflammation and chronic inflammatory diseases.
